After another week on my insanely long journey to get form stuff working on my database I came up once again completely dry. I did however get my validating function(java) working thanks to a few people here earlier last week, and a few people at htmlgoodies.
But, That is cream, I need the cake...PHP. I need to connect to my MS Access database(using ODBC, a huge surprise there I am sure) and php.
So here is my question. How do I connect to my access database? I need a tutorial or the code or something. But not just another link to a php.net article saying it can be done with ODBC connections.(as it just so happens Access is an ODBC database, so I kinda had that one pegged myself, didn't need an articel to tell me that)
Can someone please help me, I need the php help here pretty soon as the entire site is up and operational except the whole point of the site, which is database connection and work.
I need to connect once for viewing of a table within the database, and again on a differentpage(the same one with the stuff.php redirection) for inputinng form results into the database.
Please help me, I have spent weeks on this and am quite rankly getting sick of hearing the acronyms php, asp, cgi...I just want to get this site working, is that too much to ask? Thank you very much in advance, the help I have recieved so far has been great, and I just have one more step and I am done with this project.
