I've this section where there are lots of cards and they are categorized as love, bday, congrats etc. In the front page, i want to display one card each of each category and randomimages are displayed each time on the front page. Please help???

Use this query to randomly obtain a row

$sql = select column_name id*0+rand() as random from tbl, ORDER BY random DESC limit 1;

id is the auto_increment column
column_name is the column that contains your pics
** Note the zero after id
