Session ID's

Hi All,
How do I prevent the Session id from being displayed in the Address bar of the browser?
http://host:port/php/test2.php?PHPSESSID=a600462a9bd091d29b6a9ac61ba71cfp

I'm using Apache 1.3.20 and PHP 4.0.6. I have compiled PHP using the --enable-trans-sid option.

I believe that because you used the --enable-trans-sid option, it is going to do that by default. Did you take a look at your php.ini file to see whether you can change this attribute in there?

I set session.use_trans_sid = 0 and it did the trick !!
