Output HTML for printing

The PHPBuilder site uses a script that allows you to print a whole article in one hit - also removing data from table so text will wrap on printing.

How do you do it? I have hunted around for a script that can be used to take HTML in a table and output it ready for printing - no luck. How does PHPBuilder approach this? If it is just a script can you make it available, please??

Maybe they areusing two templates per page? The prettier version and the plain printer version. Using an if statement to determine which template to display.

example:
"Action=2" will display the pretty template of the page
"Action=print_mode" will display the printer version.

I guess it could be done that way, their may be a more efficient way of doing this, I am new with this, so it may be beyond me.
