can i querie a field called "now" that contains a time and check it against a variable called "time" If they match or or are within 2 minutes it matches them? i have tried but it doesnt work.

WHERE (time) >= (current)

time is a field in mysql and current is the current time.

Any help appreciated.

the current time is in the now() constant like this :

select * from table_name where time >= NOW()
