I have tried to Florian Dittmer(in article http://www.phpbuilder.com/columns/florian19991014.php3) to store and retrieve binary data. It works well! hwever, when the download is downloaded, the download filename is always the php file name, but not the original filename! how to change it? thx
When refering to the variable that hold the file name try adding _name to the end of it. That should refer to the origanal file name and not the temporary one.
