Date Conversion using PHP and (msSQL)

hi,
I am kaleem, i have a problem in PHP regarding to conversion of String into Date when i am using Odbc (msSql server ). Have you ever got this problem, and if got what was your solution for this type of problem.
I am trying to save string values into MS-SQL server after converting them into date.
