capture enter

I have a textbox and button on my web page. At the moment I need to click on 'search' button for search to begin. I'd like to be able to just hit enter to start the search. How can i do this ? Guess I need some javascript..

can't you just hit enter??

as far as i can tell, as long as you have just one text area, enter clicks submit by default....

look at http://www.php.net

their search widget doesn't have a submit button, and from what i can tell about the source code, there's no javascript powering it.
