I'm trying to build a shopping cart for my web page and I've been running into a really weird cookie problem. I think that I've figured out part of it.
It seems that all my cookie information is actually being stored in one cookie. When I check my HD, it only shows one for the whole domain even though in my code I've set seventeen different cookies.
Anyway, the second the cookies total size is more than 4k, all my cookies get set to null and I can't set cookies anymore. Cookies from other servers like Yahoo still work, but mine won't
I've deleted all cookies and temp files cache etc, I've even tried re-installing windows, but nothing works.
First of all, why are the stupid cookies all getting put in one file? Secondly, why does going over 4K blow up my computer? The first time it happened it destroyed my internet connection. After I re-installed directx, it works again, but my page still doesn't.
