Send Mail problem

Hi, I am trying to send a mail that looks something like this -
mail([e-mail],Your Password,"Your Password is vishal", "From:\"livetek\" -f <\"[e-mail]\">")

I get some extended name along with the from address that looks like this "[e-mail]@xyz123.domainname.com". I am trying to send this mail from some other server and do not know how to get rid of the additional part after the second @. Any ideas? Kindly help!

I used this

$formsent = mail("[e-mail]","Subject","Body OF Email","FROM:THOMAS <[e-mail]>");

Looks like yours is similar, maybe remove the -f for the from part.

I know this works so Its probably just your syntax
