I am still very new to php and some web programming in general, so I turn to you for help.

We are utilizins session handling. A user logs in, he has his preferences and options. I would like to add the feature to stay logged in once he has successfully logged in. So when returning to the site he is already logged in.
If someone could point me to an article or documentation on this project, I would great appreciate it.
