"Unable to select database"

I am getting the error "Unable to select database" the first time that I try to access http://www.dijitaldesigns.com/index.php

However, If I hit the URL again, it goes through. I'm not thinking that is is a mySQL access issue since the request goes through the second time.

Sorry, I am a total nubi that is trying to learn the ropes. All help is greatly appreciated. If you need more information, I would be glad to supply it.

I double checked permissions, everything looks fine. Still clueless 🙁
