how to create bar/pie chart

some one must help me.......i want to create vote question ....after vote i want to create bar/pie chart....any opinion

for bar chart, I think you can create a gif image (normally 1px x 1px). so you calculate yr result into percentage. when you got the percentage, you can use that value to set the gif length , or adjust to other length. For the height of the image, u can set whatever you want. if you want to show in multiple color, then you can use tranparent gif, and set its background when you show the data in bar chart. This is the easiert way i think of building a bar chart.

Very simple solution is to use table. I've done once this way: I colored cells of table - for example, I want to show that 15 days of this month I've been working with certain project. So, the length of row is 30 days (i.e. 30 columns), and 15 of them have different color.
Advantages - works fast.
Disadvantages - not so nice as grafics, of course. But quite acceptable with good design.
