guests

I have a PHP-mySQL site, where users need to have an account to log onto the page (they can register by a registering form). But also i have created a user called "guest" with password "guest". So when you are on the system you can see the nick_name of all users loged. But if there are 2,3 or 5 Guests loged y can only see 1 listed.

Example

Users that did a click on the last 10 minutes on the site.
NICK TIME
peter 12:52
tom 12:55
mary 12:57

And now my question !
How can list the diferent Guests that are loged like guest_1, guest_2, etc.. ??

I use cookies to send the user_id and password (i dont use sessions)

One way is to use IP addresses to differentiate between your guests. Store those in your session tracking table.

Whats the function for getting the IP address ?

$REMOTE_ADDR

Some users dont give their IP with $REMOTE_ADDR
