I've only seen it done once (joint programming with a core-developer of UBB and phpB😎
Though they accomplished it, it was (in fact) a direct violation of MS's useage-license. Thus, it was never released publically.
It invovled a LOT of digging through vb code, and a nasty set of files from the msnm web site.
Anyway, if anybody has found a way around the whole 'member usage agreement' issue, I would love to see your methods 🙂
