why download size always the same?

i try to use php to upload a binary file and store in mysql as a blob data type. It is fine when i upload and store in the mysql. However, when i retrieve the file from mysql and let user to download, the download file size is always 64k and it is not whole of my file!!!
what's the problem? is there any problem when i upload it? or anything else?

Maxium size for a blob is 64 K. If your file type is bigger look at Mediumblob or Longblob.
