I have seen in ASP JSP and SHTML how to get a users' server details such as their IP address ect. Does anyone know how to get them in PHP Please

$REMOTE_ADDR will give you the client IP address...

A better way is to write a php script thats is.

<? phpinfo(); ?>

thats the whole thing. when put though a browser it will display all the variables availalbe.

Please read more about HTTP protocol, and CGI specification.
Especially about CGI variables.
No matter which system are you use - PHP, ASP, JSP ... They all behave identically. In PHP you may access CGI variables directly by name with '$' prefix.
