I'm working with regular expressions - specifically the eregi() function
I keep getting the warning message "REG_EMPTY" needless to say I've tried searching for a meaning for this at php.net, on this site and all the other usual places but to no avail....
so.... 2 questions...
1) what does REG_EMPTY actually refer to?? is it the pattern, the string or the result?? and what does it mean (OK I know something must be empty but I don't know what)
2) does anyone know of anywhere that lists all of these kind of warning codes and what they mean??
