Auto Site Backups

Hi Guys,

I have a little problem. I need to write a script that I can run (with crontab) on a daily basis that will back up my entire site. eg: copy . to my local hard drive.

Can anyone give me an overview...maybe point me in the right direction?

using php, you'd use the ftp functions that are included. Use a recursive function to hunt down the directories on the site, and copy them to the local drive. You could execute it via "C:\php\php.exe script.php".
