I know we have been here before, but I still dont have any form of answer. Is there or will there be a version of PHP/Tk (not Gtk)?
The reason I ask is that I carry out all my web based application programming in PHP. I can program in perl and C as well, but I cannot stand changing from one language to another in the middle of a project. It slows development time considerably and costs money.
Even though PHP is primarily designed to work with the web, stand alone client side GUI applications do feature quite heavily for secure administration and database management. It would be much better, more cost effective and generally easier to do the whome project in one language. It also makes handover to another developer and project management considerably easier.
