Refresh a frame

I am using a simple header() command to refresh a whole page, whereas I want it to only refresh the contents of a frame I have in it

<frameset>
//stuff
</frameset>

Is this possible to do, and if so could someone offer a suggestion please.

Currently I have

if ($posted > 0) {
header("Location: http://www.mysite.com/index.php");
}

Its for a simple poll simple, the list of polls is shown, and then is someone clicks on one of them it shows either the results, or the voting choices.
The current solution of reloading the whole page is slow and bandwidth consuming if people try to view several polls.

You can use javascript. The easiest way is to just add a script to the page your form is pointing to.

I think that's the right syntax, I won't swear to it. Everytime the page that conatins this script reloads, it will cause the frame named in frames['framename'] to reload as well. If I have the syntax correct that is. :o)

Hmmm, I'm not sure what you mean here...

Currently I refresh my whole index.php page, just to add stuff (forgotten their name) to the URL and show the results, or voting box for a poll,

ie : www.mysite.com/index.php?pollid=3&show-results

and then it reloads the polllist.inc file when requested to, which is inside <frameset> and shows the results of the 3rd poll.

I just want a way to reload ONLY this frame, would your code mean that whenever I tried to reload the index page it would only load that frame?
Could be a problem as you are redirected to the index page for a number of reason, such as logging in from there...
