One more thing --

I have a row defined as "text" -- when I enter in data into a form, it cannot contain an ' marks -- for example:

Guido's Pizza Palace will not work --

but

Guidos Pizza Palace will work.

Do I need to change the function type or add something to the code?

Thanks.... should I just put the addslash string in anywhere, or does it have an exact spot that it needs to populate?

just anywhere would do, as long as it is before you try to write it in the database. Normally, I do it just before writing to the db, in that case if you change the strings during the process, the slashes will be at the right place.
