UPLOAD FILES ... strange behaviour...

Hello there...

Uploading files worked good on my local windows machine ... but after putting the scripts to the server, the following happens:

the file is uploaded to the tem-dir and remains there.
for some reason the script containing the <input type=file> tag will never be finished... (after some while I get a "page cannot be displayed" error)

i have checked for proper settings in php3.ini (temp dir, max file size etc.) =(

could anyone imagine why this happens?

Don't strip the slashes
