Help Me: Alphabetical Order

Hey everyone, I want to make a php script that lists a band's name from a database feild and makes a link to the band's section on my page. So if someone were to go to my bands section and the three bands "Linkin Park", "Papa Roach", and "Limp Bizkit" were in the database it would list the three in alphabetical order and give it a link, like:

Limp Bizkit(link would be www.rockxtreme.com/bands.php3?name=Limp%20Bizkit)
Linkin Park(link would be www.rockxtreme.com/bands.php3?name=Linkin%20Park)
Papa Roach(link would be www.rockxtreme.com/bands.php3?name=Papa%20Roach)

could someone please help me out here? I can't get this one. Thanks!

read the entries from the database into an array and then use the method sort() to sort it alphabetically

see the Array functions in php manual for more details.

Can't you just sort the bands as you select them. e.g:

SELECT * FROM bands ORDER BY bandname

Surely this would be the easiest option.
