mkdir, file uploads, and WinNT 2000

Hello. I am getting the following error when trying to upload a file to a specific directory:

Warning: Unable to create '': Permission denied in c:\blueonly\gastonia\classifieds\postad2.php

I created the directory with "777" file permissions, but I am running windows. is this still correct for this OS?

Check rights on your temp-dir, e.g. c:\winnt\temp. It should allow you to store the temporary file - so give access to all users. Then try to reduce the rights for security reasons. Try to set then right to [computername]_IUSR which is the default User in Windows Internetserver. Tempdir is defined in your php.ini so you can provide another dir exclusively for php-uploads.
