How to make user choose from his files??

I want to copy a file directly from user to server... I don't know how to do it... but that will not be a problem I think... The bigger problem is how to make it user friendly???
How to do sth that he will have the ability to choose from his files on hdd and the path to this file will be then taken to php and the exact file will be uploaded to server...

HOW TO DO IT???

that's an html issue, see "forms / inputs for uploading files" in any html reference manual.
