passing value thourgh url to if statemen

If I have a page:

product.php?alpha=a-c&company=gmc

How can I create and if statement that says

if company = gmc

then echo this

else

then echo this

??

company = gmc is just coded on a page of links with several other links for other companies. When they click on the like, I just have it coded into the url.

you code should be:

if ($company == "gmc")
{
echo 'Yep it sure does';
}
else
{
echo 'Try again';
}

Notice the == for comparison...
