PHP and frames

Anybody know of a way to change the size of a frame border? For example, I have a page with two frames. The left one takes approx. 1/4 of the window. But the skimpy default border between the two is hard to capture with the mouse, so I'd like to widen it a bit.

Also, is there anyway to shrink the left frame to zero width, and then restore it again. I'd like my customers to have that option, if possible.

To your first question: search the internet for a frames tutorial. That's plain HTML, nothing to do with PHP in particular.

To your second question, I don't think HTML supports changing frame widths without dragging it with the mouse.
Look at layers and javascript.
Again, nothing to do with PHP.

My HTML tutorial does not address how to change the width of the frame border. So I assume there is no property to do this then.
