Very strange NS4 table rendering problem

Hey all. I'm trying to get a page to work in multiple browsers; currently it does just fine in IE, Netscape 6, Mozilla and Konqueror. However, in Netscape 4 (Communicator 4.7) I have a bizarre problem with it. The page uses a considerable amount of tables, all of which I have checked and rechecked so that opening and closing TR, TD and TABLE tags match up. When i go to the page, only the first table loads. If I hit reload, the same thing. However, if I click on the location bar, go to the end of the line and hit ENTER, the page loads correctly. I don't know why this would be, it seems like a Netscape bug, but I don't want to assume that when it could very well be a problem in the code. You are welcome to check out the page at:

you may get a javascript error simply because this page is meant to be within some frames, just ignore those. Any help would be appreciated.

I've seen this before, whereby if the depth of your tables (i.e table within a table within a table, and so on...) is large, then the browser has a problem in handling it all, then loads fine, then doesnt, etc.

Ignore it, or use less tables 🙂

Really you should only need a maximum depth of 3 tables, maybe 4.

It works (generally) fine in NS4, IE4+5, and lynx, not tested with Mozilla or NS6 yet though.

Oh, believe me, it's not for me, i just like to design for as many browsers as is practical. My first choice is IE, followed by Mozilla.
