dynamic input names

I created a newsscript and one script to update the news.

a while loop creates a form for each news and fill the forms with the correct values
a hidden input send the id back when the form has been submitted.

my problem is, that there are no values inside the inputnames, i think its why all the form names are similar.

so is there a chance to give every input its own name with an id or something so that the values are no longer getting lost when the page reloads.

what about an array an each form have an index number.

Ending every input with [] will place them in an array. For instance:

while($var_ar = mysql_fetch_array($var_rs))
{
echo "<input type=text name=news[] value='$var_ar[News]'";
}

would place all the vales found in the db in a $news array.
