I'm trying to code a simple image gallery script, but it won't work. As there are many scripts available for download I thought I might be doing too much work. The ones I found didn't do what I wanted though. This is what I need:
- automatic thumbnail creation
- one gallery with multiple pages, clickable page numbers with next and previous links

Anyone who knows such a script (as simple as possible)?

Dear Ice (Berg),

I'm not that good in PHP, but I know that you will need to install GD for the automaticly thumbnail creation.. You can check for that in forums and columns!

there are a few scripts on hotscripts.com which do make thumbnails. not as well as photoshop but still not so bad.

i think it\'s bether to create and save and \'action\' for creating thumbnails in photoshop (of course, if you have it), and than just run it. photoshop can make up to 100 thumbnails in a minute if you have a faster machine. and these thumbnails are bether than \'php-thumbnails\'

i have made a script index.php that you have just to put in dir and run it. it is taking thumbz from a dir called \'thumbz\' and the big pictures from a dir \'big\', there are \'previous\' and \'next\' buttons. nothing else. very simple, working, 3 kb, but you have to create thumbz by yourself.
