i'm planning a paid membership site like most adult sites, and i'm trying to figure out the pseudo code for the ecommerce transaction. for example, a member pays a fee for 6 months use of the site, he then chooses his id and pw. how does that handoff work? i'm just looking for a general outline. i'll figure out the code, but i need sometime to spell out the steps. i haven't done any ecom before so i plead ignorance. after they pay, are they simply directed to a secure page where they then choose the id and pw? i'd appreciate any help in this direction. thanks.
