I have a problem that nearly drives me crazy though it might be that difficult! Anyhow I am totally confused!
I am programming a administration tool for a website and the customer wants to create his own navigation. He probably wants more than 3 layers for the links...
For example the first row of links could be:
[news]-[products]-[article of the week]...
Then [products] could then for example carry categories like
[slenderyou]-[contentmanager]-[filemanager]
Even these categories could contain subcategories.. and so on...
My idee was to create a table that contains these [categories] with the ID, the topID and the layer...
[products] would then have ID=38, [slenderyou] would have topID=38,...
Here the table structure:
ID - topID - layer - titel
38 - 38 - 1 - news
39 - 39 - 1 - products
41 - 41 - 1 - kontakt
42 - 42 - 1 - article of the week
46 - 41 - 2 - amira
47 - 41 - 2 - manfred
48 - 39 - 2 - slenderyou
49 - 39 - 2 - contentmanager
50 - 39 - 2 - filemanager
51 - 49 - 3 - userverwaltung
52 - 49 - 3 - rubriken
53 - 48 - 3 - gewicht
The problem that I have is... I don`t know how the ORDER the OUTPUT dynamicly...
Can you help me or maybe just give me some tip...
