Closing windows

Hey, it's a very simple question...
I have a protected page, which means, people may only access it once logged on via username and password. It it possible to keep this window opened whet the user is logged on? He may only close this window when logged of (using sessions).
I think I should use Javascript since this is probably client-side

i think it is impossible.
it relate to security issue. if javascirpt can do that, someone may make a window which cannot be destroyed.

In fact, I just found it out.... You're able to remove the clip-controls or whatever their name is, from Internet explorer. The minimize, maximize and close buttons will disapear. CTRL+ALT and CTRL+ALT+DELETE can be disabled too via Javascript (KeyDown event...)
I just built my own Close button, which makes a user first log off before leaving (that was the purpose)
