Mail with php3

Hi everyone,

How do I get php3 to AUTOMATICALLY send me an email externally after my form has been filled out.

There is already a redirect on the form to my Homepage, but I also need this feature.

All I need to know is the name of the $user that filled out the form.

I would REALLY REALLY apreciate a quick answer. I'm starting to get a headache :´(

Donald,
if the action of your form is your homepage, then in your homepage, you should check for a form variable. If it's set (or !=""), then have an email sent to you. You just have to make sure one of the inputs in the form (or a session variable) holds the value of $user so it will be passed to your homepage.
