Variable help

Hello people, I have a problem with multiple selection list/menu box in a form.
Whenever I post the information to php, it will only take one bit of information. Is there a way I can get the bits of data from the posted information?
For example: www.url.com?select=21&select=12
Can I get the information and store it as one?
BTW, thanks to all the people who've helped me before it is appreciated.

Sorry I made a mistake I didn't know that my data was posted before

try naming your select with [] at the end

like this:
<select name="select[]">
...

then you will have an array on the next page called select.

this works for options as well
