removing "_" on results

I’m running a php/mysql catalog. I have categories that are 2 or 3 words. I’ve entered them with “_” (Pull_Bows, Home_Decor etc.) On the result page I am displaying the category name. I would like to have the name displayed without the "underscore". Is this possible? Thanks in advance

yes, try using string replace

Removing the underscore and replacing it with a space is easily done with ereg_replace. Try:

echo ereg_replace('',' ',$your_category);
or even better
echo ereg_replace('',' ',$your_category);

The latter will insert a hard space prohibiting your categories for breaking into two.

anyway you could use:

$ununderscoredstring = str_replace('_',' ',$yourcatagory);

$category = str_replace("_", " ", $category);

If you view the source, you'll see he put a   in there. Sure, the visual effect is identical, unless the browser is looking for a place to word-wrap...
