How to end a session?

hi James,
The session is started properly
the id is also created but why is that the session never ends
i mean when another user logs in a new session should start but the previous session continues for him also?
can anyone tell me why?

php is congigured as apache module normally
other than this i have not done any configurations
so how do i get the session support?
iam confused
