I'm running PHP and Apache on a Red Hat 7.1 system.
I would like to be able to make a short beep in the internal speaker when a certain page is hit.
I downloaded a small program which produces a sound at a chosen pitch. I works fine from a
shell but when I execute it from within PHP (using "system" or "exec") there is no sound.
(Apache has execution rights on the binary so it's not that.)
Does anyone know another and maybe simpler way to achieve what I'm looking for?
