I am quite new to php so I am not sure if there is an obvious solution to my question !
I have a while loop that is collecting several hundred values, from a flash interface, as an array:-
$counter=1;
while ($counter<=$number){
$x = "$x_[$counter]";
$y = "$y_[$counter]";
$alpha = "$alpha_[$counter]";
$rotation = "$rotation_[$counter]";
$xscale = "$xscale_[$counter]";
$yscale = "$yscale_[$counter]";
$positions = "x_" . $counter . "=" . $x . "&" . "y_" . $counter . "=" . $y . "&" . "alpha_" . $counter . "=" . $alpha . "&" . "rotation_" . $counter . "=" . $rotation . "&" . "xscale_" . $counter . "=" . $xscale . "&" . "yscale_" . $counter . "=" . $yscale . "&<br>" ;
echo $positions;
$counter++;
}
My problem is that I want to assign the values returned from this loop to a single variable to pass to my database. How do I do this?
