How would I make my scipt stop cropping off any 0's at the end of a double value.
Such as, I want to leave 26.00 at 26.00 and not 26

Do you really need the zeroes? I mean, why would they be important (26.00 == 26)? If it's for display purposes, just use number_format() to print them out with x number of decimal places. Or, if you really need a double, use (double) to typecast it.
