Just check out this forumboard, I created one myself, but got stuck at this part...
The Threads... Since messages have an ParentID, you can easily create the thread and show the messages in the correct order, but how to make these little lines before each message, damn have I been puzzeling around!
I have
MssgID, ParentID, Subject, Mssg, Date, Time
when a ParentID is 0 then it's the start of a new topic.. alse ParentID will point to an ID in MssgID...
can anybody help me create this thread? (note: the thread is not the problem, but the lines before the thread)
