Session variables

Hi.
How can I get the value of a session variable from another browser window?
For example, I've got a login page using session vars that leads to the Main Menu. One of the Menu options opens a new browser window and from that new window I need to know who's logged in.

Can anyone help me please?

include the session id in the link and then when you start the session in the new window use the seesion id you sent to it.

the id is in this variable:

$PHPSESSID

look here at how to add parameters to session_start() to tell it which session to use.
