SESSION problem

Well... i made php chat script which is have 2 rooms. i use session in order to make a user enter to another chat room with different window browser.

The problem is when a user has already logged to Room A and the he open a new window to log into differetn room (Room 😎, Room A became Room B. New session replace old session.

Is there any idea, so user can enter into 2 room with different window??

I solve mine by doing this....

before everything in my script
i put

<? session_start(); ?>

then comes the headers html and stuff...

after that my script worked fine..

thx for ur help...but i already put that session_start() at top of my script in each page, but still didn't work..... any other help??

I'm sorry in advance but I have no answer for you... just questions.

If you had time to explain me a bit about chat, it would be very nice.
I'm new at php and chat interest me. I'd like to know how it runs and what to take into account to develop such a thing...

Basics would be just perfect, I don't expect to become a developer right now. Just to allow me to think about that (a start point where I could begin my research).
