MySQL Query - insert char '

Hi all,

i have a big problem :o( i'm inserting into MySQL DB this string: ED'System and MySQL_Query can't insert this string into DB. I know the problem is it that i've string with query: "INSERT INTO company VALUES ('ED'System')" <- there is 3pcs of '. I have ED'System into string, but it doesn't working right.

Please will be so kind and help mi with this issue.

you have to escape the apostrophe. usually that is done with addslashes($var), ive had trouble with this with access. the other option is to double up the ' with something like str_replace("'", "''", $var)
