Help validating user input

I have a form on my web page used to submit posts to my message board. What I would like to be able to do is make sure submitted data comes from a page on my site rather than anywhere else on the net.

When from data comes to a php script is there any data sent along with it saying where it was submitted from?

$HTTP_SERVER_VARS["HTTP_REFERER"] is the server that the user linked from. You can parse that and check that it's from one of your approved pages thus keeping people from submitting from off of your site.
