Thinking out loud.
I am thinking/searching for a script to include in my webpage which will automatically generate the site navigation links. (Something like the navigation links in Yahoo directory.)
For example if the visitor enter a page with the following urls.
http://domain.com
http://www.domain.com
http://domain.com/index.php
http://www.domain.com/index.php
The script will output this:
Home >
http://domain.com/news/
http://www.domain.com/news/
http://domain.com/news/index.php
http://www.domain.com/news/index.php
Home > News
http://domain.com/news/ecommerce.php
http://www.domain.com/news/ecommerce.php
http://domain.com/news/ecommerce.php
http://www.domain.com/news/ecommerce.php
Home > News > ecommerce
http://domain.com/news/stories/
http://www.domain.com/stories/
http://domain.com/news/stories/index.php
http://www.domain.com/news/stories/index.php
Home > News > stories
I think that the output of the script can be generated from the directory, path name or page name.
Possible php functions that can be used: substr(), strpos(), strrpos(),
Possible variables that can be used : PATH_INFO, SCRIPT_NAME
'Home' can set to a fixed Url.
Please help if you have any solutions or ideas to add.
