holding array values in table

hello everyone,

I have an array of values: eg) 1,5,18,24

Is it possible to store these values in one field in a table, and then be able to take them out of the table in the database later and put it back into an array??

If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it's possible all you need to do once you've run your query is this:

//loop through each record in Data set
$my_array[] = $row_value;

the [] operator on the end of an array says fill the next avaiable space.
