mktime ?problem? on win 2000

i understand unix will have a problem around 2037 with time values...

so on my calendar generator, which uses strftime and mktime, i tested some months in 2038 and of course they don't work.

is this just the win2000 implementation of mktime or what? is it a php4 bug? are there any patches or workarounds i could use?

This is a limitation of PHP, not a bug, and as such, there's no patch. They may remove this limitation in the future, but until then you're going to have to work around it.

SO THE QUESTION NOW BECOMES:

given a month and a year, can someone write a function that would tell me what day of the week the 1st will be on, and how many days are in the month? thanks.
