Parse Error

Hallo
I am trying to update news stories to a page called latest.php, without using SQL. However, I keep on getting a Parse Error when trying to run it. I am a total newbie and have been struggling with this for a while now. Any help will be appreciated.

preg_match_all (Subject, latest.php=(\d*)), $old_news, $matches[]);

It helps if you put quotes aroung strings.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Hallo
I want users to add their own news stories. This must then be send to the news-page where other users can read the latest stories. I have a form to do this, however, the news-page does not update.

I meant: what are you trying to do with the preg_match_all() statement?

I thought that's what I am supposed to use to update the news page. Should I use "add" instead?
